The Board of Education for Lafayette County C-1 held their monthly meeting on March 26, at 7:00 in the Central office boardroom. All members were present: Gina Kouril, Steve Dyer, Don Kennedy, Benton Williams, Kali Erdman and Barb Nolte President Benton Williams called the meeting to order. Eric Lockard moved to approve the agenda and Steve Dyer seconds.

Eric Lockard & Don Kennedy moved and Gina Kouril seconded to approve the consent Agenda: Approve the minutes of Regular Meeting of February 19, 2026; Payment of Warrants; Approve February 2026 Finance Report; Approve Expense/ Revenue Report; Approve NEE Contract; Approve MOU with MVCAA for Head Start.

The board members discussed the appeal of Justin Frauenhoffer’s one year restriction for disruptive conduct. Kali Erdman motioned and Steve Dyer seconded to uphold the one year restriction. Motion carried 7-0. Don Kennedy moved and Steve Dyer seconded to approve the 2025-2026 budget revisions. Motion carried 7-0.

Mr. Knipmeyer gave a legislative update to the board Upcoming dates = March 30th, 2026, there will be a tax levy meeting at 6pm in the High School Library. April 7, 2026, Election Day. Regular board meeting will be held April 16. 2026.

Barb Nolte moved and Gina Kouril seconded the motion to adjourn to Executive session at 7:45pm to discuss Minutes as allowed by RSMo610.021, 1, Legal Issues as allowed by RSM0610.021, 1 & personnel issues as allowed by RSM0610.021, 3 & 1. Steve Dyer-aye, Gina Kouril-aye, Eric Lockard-aye, Kali Erdman -aye, Benton Williams -aye, Barb Nolte -ye Don Kennedy – aye. Motion carried 7-0.

Kali Erdman moved and Barb Nolte seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:39pm. Motion carried 7-0. Approved March 26, 2026
