Lafayette County C-1 School District Minutes for Board of Education Meeting
The Board of Education for Lafayette County C-1 held their monthly meeting on March 26, at 7:00 in the Central office boardroom. All members were present: Gina Kouril, Steve Dyer, Don Kennedy, Benton Williams, Kali Erdman and Barb Nolte President Benton Williams called the meeting to order. Eric Lockard moved to approve the agenda and Steve Dyer seconds.

Huskers Take on Saints, Cardinals, and Trojans
Husker Baseball took on the St. Paul Saints on Friday, March 27th at home. The Saints dotted home plate 4 times in the first inning, adding three more runs in the next two innings, and put the Huskers away in the 4th going up 11-3, eventually taking the win 16-3.

Tennis Team Off to Fiue and One Start
The Husker Tennis team took on duals and a doubles tournament recently, continuing a strong season thus far. Taking on a tough Warrensburg Tigers squad of the MRVC west, at home on 3-30-26, The boys were defeated 7-2. Colby Dickmeier and Alex Dyer lost 2-8 at #1 doubles, Matteo Guillen and Rhett Bums were defeated 0-8 at #2, and Cy Fitzgerel, and Joel Cook lost 0-8 as well, at #3.
Track and Field Competes at Warrensburg and Odessa
The Husker Track and Field program traveled down south to Warrensburg on 3-31-26 for a meet and also dodged rain drops on 4-2-26 at Odessa. Despite recent bad weather the Huskers showed that they are a team to be dealt with this season, capturing various top placements in the boys and girl’s events.
