The show provided exhibitors an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of feline care, handling, and showmanship while showcasing the special bond between youth and their cats. The Lafayette County 4-H/FFA Fair Rocket Shoot-Off Contest was held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, on the south side of Grandview Elementary School in Higginsville. The event gave local 4-H and FFA members the opportunity to showcase their skills in rocketry, science, and engineering by launching rockets in a variety of competition categories. Participants demonstrated creativity, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of aerospace principles through projects they designed, built, and tested.
