Next LCRSP meeting is Oct. 8
Lafayette County Retired School Personnel (LCRSP) will meet Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, at the FCS office (4100 MO-13 Bus Hwy, Higginsville). Snacks and social time will start at 2 p.m. and the meeting at 2:30 p.m. The meeting will include a Meet and Greet with the candidates running for State Representative District 51 and 53 as well as an explanation of the issues on the Nov. 3 ballot. All retired teachers, support staff, spouses, active teachers, support staff, spouses, and the public are welcome to attend. Please enter through the front doors.
MDC: Report hemorrhagic disease
The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is beginning to receive some reports of hemorrhagic disease (HD) in deer and is asking the public to help determine the extent of the disease by reporting suspected cases.
Lilleman honored with MRTA Unit 5 Distinguished Retiree Award
It is with great pride that Lafayette County Retired School Personnel (LCRSP) announces that member and Treasurer, Gail D. Lilleman, has been awarded the Missouri Retired Teacher and Education Employees Association (MRTA) Unit 5 Distinguished Retiree Award. Gail was recognized at MRTA’s Annual Meeting on Sept. 16, 2026 in St. Louis.
