Change of venue in armed robbery case

A criminal case involving the armed robbery of a Lexington pharmacy will be tried in Saline County following a courtapproved change of venue.

According to a published report, 42year-old Louis M. Patti, of Camden, has been charged with first-degree robbery, armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance in connection with the Sept. 11, 2025 robbery of Minuteman Pharmacy in Lexington.

Patti is accused of pointing a handgun at two victims in the business and demanding oxycodone and oxycontin.

Patti fled from the scene with the stolen drugs in a vehicle that Missouri Highway Patrol later stopped on Missouri Highway 13. The stolen drugs and handgun were found in the vehicle during a search.

Note: Charges contained in reports provided by law enforcement officials are not evidence of guilt. Evidence supporting charges must be presented before a jury, whose duty is to determine if the accused is guilty or not guilty of the charges.
