Lexington Minutewomen Basketball Star, Zoey Earnest, hit the jackpot again, as she recently established two more Milestones for her Basketball career at Lexington High School.

To the best of our knowledge, Earnest is the career Girls Basketball scoring leader at Lexington High School as she has currently scored a total of 1531 points, during her 4 year career. Zoey established the new career scoring record on December 22, in the NCMC Holiday Hoops Shootout in Trenton, as she scored 23 points that day in a game with Milan. To the best of our knowledge, the previous record was 1247 career points set by Chandler Himbury during the 2018-19 season.

Apparently there were not any official individual Girls Basketball records kept prior to the 2011-12 season. However, there is information that indicates that former players Kathy Cole, Kristen Thompson, Lyndsay Swafford, and Jelessa Stafford, all also scored more than 1000 points for their careers at Lexington High School. However, the 1247 point total of Himbury is apparently the only exact point total above 1000, that has been officially documented for any of those former players.

Zoey Earnest has also established a second career Milestone this season, as she pulled down the 1000th rebound of her career on January 28, as she had 14 rebounds in a game against Pleasant Hill, in the Crest Ridge Cougar Classic. Earnest currently has a total of 1083 rebounds for her career, which apparently established a Lexington School record for career rebounds, which broke the apparent record of 802 rebounds, which was established by Hope Webb, during the 2018-19 season. This has definitely been a year of Career Milestones at Lexington High School, as we are aware of 7 different Milestones that have been established this school year by Lexington athletes. In addition to the two established by Earnest, her teammate LaNiya Davis, scored the 1000th point of her Basketball career, while Chael Lichte scored his 1000th career point, and also established a new Basketball 3 point boys school career scoring record as he now has 205 3 pointers for his career. In Wrestling. Mireya Gonzalez recorded her 100th career victory, while Elizabeth (Izzy) Hager earned her100th career pin.

Last year was also special, as Earnest scored her 1000th career point, while Hager recorded her 100th career Wrestling win. Also last year, Damario Moss scored the 2000th career point of his career, and he became the all time Lexington Boys Basketball career scoring leader, while Karalena Steinhauser won the 100th match of her high school Wrestling career.
