Care Connection for Aging Services is seeking residents to file as candidates for its Executive Board of Directors. Board seats will be open for elections in these counties: Bates, Benton, Carroll, Chariton, Hickory, Lafayette, Saline, and Vernon.

Members of the Executive Board are volunteers who serve a three-year term and are responsible for determining agency policies in the following areas: human resources, planning, finance, community relations, and organizational operations.

Board members regularly meet either in person or via videoconference to govern the agency’s operations, policies, and procedures.

They advocate in the community for issues that benefit and serve older adults. If you would like to learn more about the board position, call 1-800-748-7826 and speak with Executive Director Wendy Martin.

To file for election, call or visit your local senior center and ask to speak with the center coordinator. The candidate must agree in writing to abide by a code of ethics, submit a signed conflict of interest statement, file a statement of intent, provide a short biography, and complete all volunteer requirements, including a background screening.

The statement must be signed and mailed to Care Connection for Aging Services, P.O. Box 1078, Warrensburg, MO 64093, and received or postmarked by April 1, 2026. Elections occur in May.
