Missouri Tigers earn spot in the Big Dance

The Missouri Tigers Men’s Basketball Team, that has lived on pins and needles for the past couple of weeks, found out late last Sunday afternoon, that they had earned a spot in the NCAA March Madness Basketball Tournament, that will begin tomorrow (Thursday) in numerous locations.

The Tigers, who come into the tournament with a 20-12 record, are the number 10 seed in the West Region, and they will face the number 7 Miami Hurricanes (258) at 9:10 Friday evening in a first round game in St Louis.

For you Jayhawk fans, Kansas, with a record of 23-10 is the number 4 seed in the East Regional, and they will face 13th seeded California Baptist University (258) in a first round contest at 8:45 in San Diego, also on Friday night. If Missouri wins on Friday, they will face the winner of the (2) Purdue-(15) Queens first round game on Sunday, while if Kansas wins, they will face the winner of the (5) St Johns-(12) Northern Iowa contest, also on Sunday.
