Alberta June Grandestaff, 94, of Higginsville, died on February 9, 2026 at the Lutheran Good

Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born March 12, 1931, in Warrensburg, to Everett and Minnie Marr. Alberta and Kenneth C. Grandestaff were married after he returned from the Korean War. They settled in Higginsville.

She is survived by: Son; Richard Grandestaff (Lora) of Warsaw; Brothers; Charles Marr of Warrensburg, John Marr of Peculiar; Sister: Sue Fisher (Bobby) of Higginsville 2 Grandchildren: Aaron Grandestaff (Stephanie) and Lauren Grandestaff 1 Great Granddaughter: Molly Grandestaff Private services will be held in the future.
