Sharon Kay Settle, 82, of Richmond, passed away Monday, February 9, 2026, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Sharon was born on October 18, 1943, in Kbansas City, the daughter of Robert L. and Rowena A. (Kennedy) Cain. She was united in marriage to William “Bill” G. Settle of Richmond on March 16, 1962; he preceded her in death on March 19, 2017.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Shirkey Hospice. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.

Visitation with funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M., with services to follow at 2:00 P.M.
