Terry Dee Madole

June 29, 1947-February 23, 2026 Terry Dee Madole, 78 of Higginsville, Missouri, formerly of Windsor, MO passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg, Missouri.

He was born Sunday, June 29, 1947 in Clinton, Missouri, to Hurschel Madole and Frances (Laughlin) Madole. He was a 1965 graduate of Windsor High School in Windsor, MO and then in 1969 he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology – Power Mechanics from Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg, MO. He shared two children with his first wife, DeeLinda DesCombes Rohrer, and he married Marsha (Blair) Bates Madole on December 22, 1989.

He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Higginsville and worked for Lake City in Independence, MO for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, traveling, and working in his yard. An avid sports fan, he especially loved cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family. He fought cancer courageously for 14 months and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his wife, Marsha Madole of the home; two daughters, Teri (Steve) Dailey of Blue Springs, MO and Jenifer (Dex) Phelps of California; one step-son, Jeff (Abbey) Bates of Kansas City, MO; one brother, Gary (Ellie) Madole of Lebanon, MO; one sister, Sheri (Tracy) Bredehoeft of Oak Grove, MO; five grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

The family received friends on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at First Baptist Church with a funeral service after. He was buried in the City Cemetery. Casket bearers: Doug Bohon, Dennis Million, Howard Rinne, Bob Thompson, Darrin Williams, Lynn Wilson.
