Bonnie Lois Chevalier Plattner Boedeker

Bonnie Lois Chevalier Plattner Boedeker, 90, of Marshall, died Thursday, April 2, 2026, at The King’s Daughters Home in Mexico, Mo.

Born July 22, 1935, in Miami, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Gussie Chevalier and Vessie Lillian Rose Chevalier. Bonnie lived in Saline County most of her life and attended school in Malta Bend.

In 1951, she married Harry A. Plattner Jr. who preceded her in death. On Nov. 14, 1975, she married William C. “Bill” Boedeker who preceded her in death on April 15, 2010.

Bonnie owned and operated a clothing store, restaurants, and worked as a real estate agent.

Survivors include two daughters, Georgia Lee Clemons (Larry) of Columbia and Hope Ann Newsom (Darrell) of Mexico; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and husbands; a daughter, Pamela Jane Woodland; a stepdaughter, Becky Hayslip Hudson; and eight siblings: Uel Chevalier, Herman Chevalier, Russell “Duke” Chevalier, James Chevalier, Buddy Chevalier, Betty Coleman, Dora Narron and Jo-Dale Chevalier.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial followed in Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
