Tieman-Blackburn Auxiliary prepares for February meeting
Tieman- Blackburn American Legion Auxiliary met Jan. 12, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the Legion Hall in Blackburn.
President Jan Erdman called the meeting to order with the Preamble and Mission Statement. A moment of silence was observed for our servicemen. Chaplain Brittany Embrey had a prayer. There were eight members present answering roll call with “Name your New Years resolution.”
A discussion followed about getting back to our sewing projects for Children’s Mercy Hospital. The auxiliary will check on encouraging friends to support the project.
Wreaths Across America was held Dec. 13, 2025. Members of Tieman- Blackburn Post and Unit participated in the project.
With no further business the meeting was adjourned with a prayer by Chaplain Brittany Embrey. Refreshments were served by Dee Ann Dillon.
The next meeting will be held on Feb. 9, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the Legion Hall in Blackburn.
