Waverly Masonic Lodge #61 A.F. & A.M. will hold their annual Soup & Chili Dinner on Sunday, Feb. 15, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Waverly Christian Church Fellowship Hall for a free-will offering.

Youth Game Night – RESCHEDULED

The Youth Game Night scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25 at the Lafayette County Extension office (14 E 19th St. #102, Higginsville) has been rescheduled! Plan to attend the Game Night and pizza party, beginning at 6 p.m. on Feb.

15. This activity is free for youth ages 14-19.

There’s no schedule or agenda, just come hang out. Bring your own beverage and feel free to bring any board games you’d like to share.

Lafayette County Health Department closures LCHD will be closed on Monday, Feb. 16, in observance of President’s Day. The Health Department will resume regular service hours on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 8:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. More information about LCHD can be found at lafayettecountyhealth. org. Ash Wednesday service

The Waverly United Methodist Church will have a drive-through Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 7:30-8:30 a.m. All are welcome. Drive through the back parking lot by the basement entrance (Jefferson St.) and receive ashes, a blessing for the day and a cookie to top it all off.

Appreciation Breakfast

This year, the annual Santa Fe FFA Appreciation Breakfast will be held on Friday, Feb.

20. The event will be held in the Santa Fe Ag Building from 6-8 a.m. Please enter through the ag building. This event serves as a thank you to the community for their continued support of the FFA Chapter. All are welcome to attend! Carry-out will be available. Good Friends & Neighbors

On the first Monday of every month, a community group in Waverly called Good Friends and Neighbors meets at the Waverly Baptist Church. Meetings begin at 10:30 a.m. with a potluck lunch to follow. All are welcome to attend!

Wild Game Supper in Waverly

Attention area men and boys! You are invited to a Wild Game Supper, to be held at Waverly Baptist Church on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 6 p.m.

The event will include dinner and a program.
