Area roadwork planned

The Wakenda Chute Bridge on Carroll County Route 41 north of Marshall is scheduled to close beginning Monday, March 30. Bridge crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing necessary bridge maintenance.

Traffic Impacts: Carroll County Route 41 will be closed at the Wakenda Chute Bridge March 30-April 23, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route during the closure.

Additionally, a striping operation is underway on Hwy 65. The project began March 18 and will continue through April 1. This will be a moving operation. Motorists should expect delays. A 16-foot width restriction will be in place. The contractor for this project is Capital Paving and Construction, LLC.
