Robertson Memorial Library presents Science Heros
On Tuesday, June 11th the Robertson Memorial Library sponsored an assembly, open to the public, at Grandview Elementary. “Science Heros” taught us all about science and conducted several experiments. A fun time was had by all!

Local students named to Missouri State University’s spring 2026 dean’s list
SPRINGFIELD, MO (06/01/2026)-- Each semester, students at Missouri State University who attain academic excellence are named to the dean's list. For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the spring semester and at least a 3.50 grade point average (on a 4.00 scale). More than 5,000 students were named to the spring 2026 dean's list. LCC-1 Board of Education Minutes
The Lafayette Co. Board of Education met for their monthly meeting on May 20 at 7:00pm. President Kali Erdman called the meeting to order with 6 members present and 1 member joined via zoom. Gina Kouril moved to approve the agenda and Steve Dyer seconds.

The recipients of the 2026 Darrick K. Homfeld Memorial Scholarship have been announced.
The recipients of this 28th presentation are Bryant Allery, Jesse Dunkle and Elizabeth Hager.
