The City of Sweet Springs is the latest community to be awarded a 2026 Missouri Blue Shield designation by the Missouri Department of Public Safety.

The recognition highlights the city’s commitment to public safety, strong community partnerships, and proactive policing. The program was created in early 2025 following the inauguration of current Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe.
