Pre-registration is now open for Fitzgibbon Hospital’s annual Health Fair. The event will be held on Friday, April 24, from 7 – 10 a.m. at Fitzgibbon Hospital (2305 S. Hwy 65, Marshall). To save time, guests can register online at www.fitzgibbon.org/fair. Pre-registrations will be accepted until Sunday, April 19. Pre-registration is not required to participate.

Free services/screenings planned for the event include: •

• Skin cancer screenings (exposed skin only) provided by Boone Hospital. Please wear shorts and loose clothing, no makeup, keep hair loose and make note of any spots of concern to point out during the exam. •

• Osteoporosis screening with Miles Romney, P.A. Ortho questions answered by Dr. Jacob Elfrink, orthopedic surgeon •

• Pain and pain treatment questions answered by Wallace Ralston, DNP, CRNA •

• Blood pressure screenings by SCCC practical nursing students •

Scheduling for colonoscopy, 3D mammography, low dose CT and bone density scans Several blood tests will be offered at discounted rates, including: Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP), Complete Blood Count (CBC), Hemoglobin A1C, Lipid Profile, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Prostate Screening (PSA), Vitamin D. Please note, you must fast for 12 hours prior to blood tests. A free light breakfast will be provided after test is complete.
