The Lexington Minutemen Golf Team hosted the Lexington Quad Golf Meet, that was held on March 25 at Shirkey Golf Course in Richmond.

Odessa won the meet with a 4 person team score of 175, while Carrolton was runner up at 180, with Lexington placing third with a score of 209, and Holden fourth at 253. Casson Kipping of Carrolton was the medalist with a 9 hole score of 37, while Odessa golfers Ayden Williams and Gunner Oetinger tied for second at 42, followed by Caden Beggeman, also of Odessa with a 43.

Luke Miller had the low score for Lexington as he carded a 47, while both Austin Dye and Wyatt Potter came in at 52, with Caden Murdock carding a 58 to round out the top four scores.

For the Lexington JV team, Tommy Phillips had a score of 60, with Hayden Ward scoring a 66, and Reece Beretta and Kailey Ward coming in at 72.

The Lexington Golfers will face Higginsville and Knob Noster in a Tri Meet tomorrow on the Higginsville Golf Course, and will play next Tuesday in the Richmond Quad at Shirkey Country Club.
