SF track competes in Higginsville

The Santa Fe Track and Field program ran at Higginsville last week at the Rob Hoefer Husker invitational on Tuesday, April 7.
Wyatt Doak continued his strong season by winning the High Jump contest again, with a height of 2m. Other top 5 placers for the boys team were: 4×100 relay team 5th, Doak also took 5th in the Long Jump, and Koewen Dierker took 4th in the Shot Put.
For the Santa Fe girls, top five performances came from Mia Lark, 2nd in the 300m Hurdles, the 4×100 team took 4th, 4x400m took 3rd, and 4x800m took 4th, Elise Michael took 4th in the High Jump, Sue Vandiver was 5th in the Triple Jump, and Brooke Dierking took 4th in the Shot Put.
Next up, Santa Fe was scheduled to compete the Wellington Delbert Best Invite at Odessa on April 14.
