CLOCK DEDICATED — A large crowd gathered at the Main Street Park Saturday morning for the dedication of a new post clock near the gazebo. The project represents a joint effort between the Lexington Rotary Club, Community Fair Board, and other local organizations and individuals. The clock was placed to celebrate the Rotary Club’s 100th anniversary. The clock — which stands around 11 feet tall — was custom-built by the Verdin Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, which has been making clocks since 1842. Speaking, above, is Rotarian Dave Rich, who spearheaded the project.
