Santa Fe sent several competitors on to the next stop (Sectionals) after Districts were played out last week in Carrollton.

On the boy’s side Wyatt Doak continued to collect gold medals as he won 1st place in the High Jump, Ryder Moenhoff took 3rd in the Javelin, and Koewen Dierker took 3rd in the Shot Put for the Chiefs.

For the girls, Brooke Summer took third in the 200m, and 400m, Mia Lark took 2nd in the 300m Hurdles, Mae Vandiver took 1st in the Long Jump, and third in the Triple Jump, Elise Michael took 4th in the High Jump, and the Santa Fe Lady Chiefs dominated the relays, taking 1st in the 4×200, 4×400, and 4x800m Relays.

The Sectionals meet is slated for this week, May 16, with the top four placers moving on to Jefferson City and state.
