Santa Fe Alumni Foundation announces 2026 scholarship recipients

The Santa Fe Alumni Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce four graduates of Santa Fe High School as recipients of the 2026 Santa Fe Alumni Foundation Scholarship. They are: Joel Long, Ethan Finkeldei, Kale Dierker and Brilee Dierking. This year, each student received a scholarship in the amount of $750.
Last year, the foundation awarded three scholarships to Santa Fe High School seniors, totaling $2,250 in scholarship funds. Over the past six years, 30 Santa Fe seniors have received this scholarship, with funds awarded totaling approximately $17,250.
Founded in 2019, the Santa Fe Alumni Foundation, Inc. was organized with the mission to assist Santa Fe alumni of all ages in times of need. Each year, the foundation holds a Crappie Tournament in the spring and a Coyote Tournament in the fall, as well as raffles and other fundraisers, to fund this mission.
In 2020-2021, the foundation established a scholarship for Santa Fe Seniors who plan to pursue post-high school education. Eligible students may attend any college, university, trade or technical school, and must have a high school GPA of 2.0 or higher. Preference for this scholarship is given to those students who participate in extracurricular activities. The selection criteria for this scholarship is determined through four essays on the topics of character, leadership, active membership and participation in school activities, and future goals.
