On Saturday, May 9, the Trinity Lutheran School track team attended the 22nd annual Lutheran Sports Association of Missouri (LSAM) State track meet at Lutheran High School of Ct. Charles County.

The girls team ranked 8th overall with 21 points, boys team ranked 13th with 6 points.

In individual rankings, the top eight places received a medal at this event. Trinity athletes receiving medals included:

Ellie Ballenger – 2nd in the long jump at 4.21m

Ellie Ballenger – 3rd in the 200m dash at 29.77

Ellie Ballenger – 5th in the discus at 22.58m

Team of Reese Hemme, Avery Meyer, Ava Griggs, Ellie Ballenger – 6th in the 4x200m relay at 2:10.93

Boys

Paxton Hemme – 5th in the 800m dash at 2:29.40

Team of Brady Meyer, Eli Hemme, Masen Dedman, Paxton Hemme – 7th in the 4x400m relay, which also broke the school record at 4:36.00
