On Tuesday, April 28, three Alma 4-H club members attended 4-H Day at the Capitol. The group rode the Amtrak from Warrensburg to Jefferson City and arrived in time to attend the opening ceremony. They met with Senator Kurtis Gregory and observed from the Senate gallery while they debated a bill, and Senator Gregory officially welcomed them. They also took a tour to the top of the capitol and visited the Missouri State Museum, located on the first floor of the capitol building.
