Last week on Tuesday night the annual Sports Banquet was held to bring a close to the Lafayette County C-l Athletic Program’s year. Multi Year Letter Winners were presented by a coach of the athlete’s choice.

Two student athletes there to receive these awards at the banquet; Alexandria Erdman, a 2 year 3 sport Letterman in Cross Country, Track, and Volleyball, and Lucas Bums who was a 3 sport 3 year letterman in Football, Basketball, and Track. Brock Page and Lorelei Weaver picked up the prestigious Dusty Goring Awards, and the MSHSAA High School Sportsmanship Awards went to Alexandria Erdman, and Lucas Bums, with Middle School winners for Sportsmanship being Clara Copenhaver, and Max Petersen. The Husker Coach of the Year award was presented to Head Volleyball Coach Kinsey Harms. After the initial opening banquet, each respective spring sport met for their individual awards presentations and coaches remarks.
