July 16, 1944 – May 27, 2026 Mary Lou Hursman, 81, of Higginsville, died on May 27, 2026 at Research Medical Center.

She grew up around Monroe City.

Mary Lou and Harold Husman were married on November 2, 1963. They lived in Houstonia for many years before moving to Higginsville in 1991. She worked at the Shoe and Garment factories in Marshall, at the Rival factory and at Lamy’s in Sedalia.

Mary Lou enjoyed quilting, sewing and cooking. She donated many quilts to charity events over the years.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12 th, from 5-7 pm at Kaiser ~Wiegers Funeral Home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.kaiserwiegers.com.
