First CCTC customer accounts belong to descendants of landowner

On June 12, Carroll County Trust Company announced that the first two accounts opened at its new Waverly branch were Student Checking accounts for Nora and Hunter Harris, the children of local landowner John Harris.
Nora and Hunter are the great-grandchildren of the family that originally owned the property where the new branch now stands.
Carroll County Trust Company’s Student Checking accounts reward academic achievement. Students who bring in their report cards showing good grades receive cash rewards.
“We’re honored that the first accounts in Waverly belong to the great-grandchildren of the original property owners,” said Luke Polen, Branch Manager.
The new Waverly branch is located at 218 E. Walnut Street and serves both Carroll and Lafayette Counties.
