The 2026 Corder Picnic Miss Corder Pageant was held on Friday evening, June 19.

Car Show results
VFW Post 4288 in Corder held their 4th annual Car Show on June 20, 2026, at the Corder Park.
The car show had 71 car, truck, and rat rod entries all aligned in the northern end of the park among the much-appreciated shade trees. The post raised over $3,000 to support local scholarships, Voice of Democracy, and Patriot Pen programs, as well as the Veteran’s Home in Warrensburg. The show participants enjoyed displaying their vehicles to the many local car enthusiasts. This was a family event and free to all show attendees.
Prizes were awarded during the event as follows.
“Best in Show” 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II owned by Kevin and Kathy Bernard from Lee’s Summit.
“Best Custom GM” 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe Coupe, owned by Keith White from Higginsville.
“Best Defunct American” 1968 AMC AMX owned by Larry Yung of Warrensburg.
“Best Modern Ford” 2003 Lincoln Town Car owned by David Edwards of Edwardsville, Kan.
