Free Community Bible Tour Returns July 25

Community churches are excited to bring the Community Bible Tour back to Higginsville for its third year on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Fairground Park. Families are invited to enjoy a free day of fun and faith from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. along the park’s walking track.

This year’s theme, ‘Tour Through the Bible,’ features interactive character stations where familiar figures from the Old and New Testaments share their stories and point children to Jesus. Admission is free, and everyone is encouraged to pre-register so organizers can prepare a FREE lunch for you. Registration will also be available on-site beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The event will be held rain or shine. Guests can stroll from tent to tent enjoying crafts, games, snacks, prizes, and live entertainment. In the event of rain, indoor accommodations are available.

Children attending the Bible Tour will receive a backpack and a ‘passport’ to guide them through the activities. One highlight of this year’s event is that every child who attends will receive an age-appropriate Bible.

Popular entertainer Dan the Bubble Man will return, along with several new entertainers. Families can also enjoy singers, a petting zoo, hands-on crafts, and plenty of activities designed to make learning about the Bible fun and memorable.

The Community Bible Tour is made possible through the cooperation of several local ministries, including The Assembly of God, Central Christian Church, Christian Ministries, and Grace United Methodist Church, all of Higginsville. Grants, donations, and many volunteers help make this free community event possible.

Volunteers are still needed to help distribute flyers, assist with crafts and games, serve refreshments, and help with setup and cleanup. Organizers also welcome prayers for an event that seeks to positively impact children and families throughout the community.
