The Lacomo East All Stars girls of the Majors division (12U) took 2nd last week in all star action in Marshall. The team started the tourney with a big win over Lacomo Central (Higginsville/Lexington), by the tally of 17-4. Next up was a 2nd round game against Harrison County where they fell 11-5. Central fought back through on the backside draw to face East again, this time saw a much closer contest with East prevailing 9-7 to advance to the title game against unbeaten Harrison County. The squad from up north took the championship, with a 12-2 spread of east to advance on to the state tournament, which will be held near St. Louis. We hope to have more results as they are made available on the other brackets in baseball and softball all stars.
