The City of Waverly has planned a citywide cleanup beginning this weekend.

The city has secured a dumpster, which will be located at 814 W Walnut in Waverly. It will be available from July 10-23 or until the dumpster is full. The gates to the dumpster will be open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily.

Please make this event a success by adhering to the following rules:

• This event is for residents of Waverly only; the dumpster may not be used by out-of-town residents

• Do not enter the dumpster area when the gate is locked.

• Use only the designated dumpster.

• Place items inside the dumpster; do not place items on the ground.

• Items NOT accepted during this event include: Refrigerators/ freezers, stoves, air conditioners, batteries, chemicals/oil/paint, tires, dirt/yard waste.

There will be cameras in use. If this opportunity is used responsibly, the hope is to bring it back annually.
