John ‘Jason’ Stockman

John “Jason” Stockman, 51, of Slater, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at his home.
Born Oct. 21, 1974, in Waverly, he was the son of John Francis Stockman and Rosalyn Mitchener Davis.
Jason lived in Slater his entire life and was a 1993 graduate of Slater High School. On Oct. 5, 1996, he married Leah Miller. Jason worked at Eddy Wildlife for 20 years and was currently employed at Marshall Municipal Utilities.
He is survived by his wife, Leah; father, John Stockman (Mary) of Marshall; mother, Rosalyn Davis (Joe) of Marshall; stepfather, Anthony Eddy (Peg) of Marshall; two sons: Dylan Stockman (Katrina) of Vilonia, Ark., and Ian Stockman of Marshall; one sister, Julie Lightfoot (Scott) of Green Ridge; one brother, Scotty Stockman of Kansas City; father-in-law, John Miller (Kay) of Marshall Junction; mother-in-law, Terry Taylor (Jim) of Slater; as well as other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation was held July 8, 2026 at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Funeral services were held on July 9, at the funeral home with William W. Harlow officiating.
