The City of Carrollton has released a statement on a municipal employee who was severely injured on the job Tuesday.

The city confirmed in a release Carrollton Municipal Utilities employee Scott Murphy is receiving medical treatment following the incident.

The city has set up a collection to support Murphy’s family while he is in the hospital and recovering. Donations can be dropped off at city hall or CMU.
