Judy Mae Hostetter, 78, Marshall, formerly of Waverly, passed away at her home on Friday, Aug. 7, 2026. Judy was born Sept. 12, 1947 in Waverly to Manuel and Sara Jane (Markley) Hostetter.

Judy spent her early years in Waverly before moving to Marshall at age 12. She called Marshall home for the remainder of her life. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Manuel Hamilton and Sara Jane Hostetter, brothers; Leroy, David and Bob, and sisters; Carolyn Jones, June Webb, Evelyn Hostetter and Virginia Hostetter.

She is survived by her brother Jack Hostetter of Waverly and her sister Helen McQuillian of Festus, Mo., along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service was planned for Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026 at the Waverly Cemetery, in Waverly.
