RIDE FOR A CAUSE — Hundreds of motorcyclists gathered at Outlaw Harley-Davidson in Blue Springs on Saturday for the 25th Anniversary “9-11 Tribute to Heroes Ride.” The ride passed through Buckner, Napoleon, Wellington and Lexington and ended up at Branded Outdoor Theater in Richmond. An ambulance with Lexington Fire and Rescue took part, while the Lexington Police Department assisted with the ride as it came through Lexington. Proceeds from the ride went to the Missouri Firefighters Memorial Foundation in honor of Harold Hollingsworth, an Assistant Fire Chief who died in the line of duty in 2013.
