Last week, Lafayette County Presiding Commissioner Harold Hoflander took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of recent pavement work as part of MoDOT’s Improve I-70: Blue Springs to Odessa section. The “Pavement Milestone Celebration” was held along the I-70 north outer road, Blue Springs. This event celebrated eight miles of completed pavement. “It’s exciting to see parts of this project completed as work continues on building a third lane of I-70 across the state between Blue Springs and Wentzville,” remarked Hoflander.
