June Shaffer, 93, of rural Marshall, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at her home.

Born June 21, 1932, in Falls City, Neb., she was the daughter of the late Roy Herman Meyers and Ruth Shepard Meyers.

On Nov. 26, 1952, she married Fred W. Shaffer.

They moved to Marshall in 1953, where she worked and retired from Continental Baking Company as their office manager. After her retirement, she worked at Holiday Lanes in Marshall for many years.

June was a member of First Christian Church, Malta Bend American Legion Auxiliary, and the American Bowling League.

She was prededed in death by her husband Fred on Dec. 29, 2014.

Survivors include two children, Debbie Hopper and Fredie Shaffer, both of rural Marshall.

Visitation and funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial followed in Ridge Park Cemetery.
