Inside John Knox Village East:

As we head into February and the month of Valentine’s Day, our hearts are bursting with anticipation over the various fun activities we have lined up.

On Sunday the 1st of February we enjoyed church services followed by a lunch of Open Faced Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Mixed Vegetables, Butternut Squash Soup, Salad Bar and Cherry Cheesecake for dessert. In the evening, we held our Ice Cream Social.

On Monday, we enjoyed local shopping and playing bridge. A worship service was held in the Gathering Room with the Lutheran Church.

On Tuesday, we played cards and dominoes. Our Bible Study and Card Clubs met in the Gathering Room.

On Wednesday the 4th, we had exercise class and Hymn Sing was held in the Gathering Room.

On Thursday the 5th, we enjoyed the music of Gerry Barr and our Chill ‘n’ Chat group met for some snacks, beverages and conversation. We also had drinks and played table games in the Gathering Room.

On Friday, we played dominoes and trivia in the Friendship Lounge and enjoyed popcorn and drinks. We also enjoyed Hot Cocoa and treats in the Gathering Room.
