Advance News Writer L A F A Y E T T E COUNTY C-1 SCHOOL DISTRICT MINUTES OF BOARD OF EDUCATION – Meeting helo at Central Office Board Room 7:00 pm January 22, 2026 MEMBERS Present Gina Kouril Steve Dyer Don Kennedy Benton Williams Kali Erdman Barb Nolte Eric Lockard President Benton Williams called the meeting to order with all members present. Steve Dyer moved to approve the agenda and Barb Nolte seconds.

Don Kennedy moved and Kali Erdman seconded to approve the consent Agenda: Approve the minutes of Regular Meeting of CONTDecember 18, 2025; Payment of Warrants; Approve December 2025 Finance Report; Approve Expense/ Revenue Report.

Gina Kouril moved and Steve Dyer seconded to approve the April ballot language for tax levy. Motion carried 7-0.

Mr. Knipmeyer updated the board on the feedback that was received from staff regarding the 20262027 school year calendar.

Don Kennedy moved and Steve Dyer seconded to approve dates for summer school beginning June 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026. Motion carried 7-0.

Mr. Knipmeyer gave a legislative update regarding the State of the State.

The upcoming regular board meeting was originally scheduled for February 19, 2026 but the board voted to move it to February 11, 2026.

March Meeting falls over Spring Break. Steve Dyer moved and Gina Kouril seconded the motion to adjourn to Executive session at 8:00pm to discuss Minutes as allowed by RSMo610.021, 1, Legal Issues as allowed by RSMo610.021, 1 & personnel issues as allowed by RSMo610.021, 3 & 1. Steve Dyer-aye, Gina Kouril-aye, Eric Lockard-aye, Kali Erdman -aye, Benton Williams -aye, Barb Nolte -aye Don Kennedy – aye. Motion carried 7-0.

Barb Nolte moved and Steve Dyer seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:46pm. Motion carried 7-0. Approved February 11, 2026
