Jan Marie Blankenship, 72, of Camden, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at North Care Hospice House in North Kansas City.

Jan was born on July 7, 1953, in Carrollton, the daughter of Donald W. and Viola “Vi” Maxine (Halterman) Heil. She was united in marriage to Brian Dean Blankenship of Carrollton on August 19, 1989; he preceded her in death on October 7, 2014.

Visitation with funeral services were held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Norborne, with visitation that began at 9:30 A.M., with ser ices that followed at 10:30 A.M., with Reverend Tysen Bibb to officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Norborne. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of arrangements.
