Hazel Hill Community Club met on Thursday, Jan. 8 at Thomas Hall at 1 p.m. Cathy Rogge and Lois Graf were the hostesses. Other members present were: Audrey Campbell, Anna Mae Closterman, Mary Ellen Kitchen, Pat Maycock, Shirley Maycock, Diane Schmidt, Lois Schmidt and Lolly Schmidt.

The meeting was called to order by President Cathy. Minutes were read by Lolly and approved. One correction was made to the minutes from Dec. 11, 2025, which was an update to the Treasurer’s reported balance. The Treasurer report as of Jan 14, 2026 was shared.

Hostesses for the Feb. 12 meeting will be Cathy and Diane. The meeting will start at 12 p.m. at Thomas Hall, and a white elephant sale will be held.

Lois Schmidt retired as Treasurer, and a motion was made by Lolly to nominate Mary Ellen for Treasurer. It was approved by all members.

Christmas cards were received from Joy Overacre and family, Katherine Hill and family, David Knipmeyer, Mildred Closterman, and card and stamps from Don Riley.
