Hall of Fame ceremony set Saturday
The Lexington Hall of Fame for Career Achievement invites the public to attend its 8th annual Ceremony on Saturday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at the Arnold Viebrock Activity Center at Lexington High School.
This year’s class of inductees will join 64 past inductees in the Hall of Fame.
This year’s inductees include:
• Kathryn Bishburg (1969): Science, Medicine, Pharmacology
• Floyd Boldridge (1916, Douglass School): Barber, Business Owner, Community Service, Friend to All
• Bret Brooks (1998): School security expert, Author, Public Speaker
• Michael Lichte (2000): Chief Insights and Optimization Officer, Dairy Farmers of America
• Richard Luerhman (1946): University of Central Missouri, Art Professor and Head of Department
• Brandon Scott (1996): Neurosurgeon
• Ernestine Seiter:English Teacher, Lexington High School
• Monica Soendker (1967): 3rd Grade Teacher, Leslie Bell In addition to the Hall of Fame ceremony, Lichte and Brooks will speak to students at Lexington High School’s Academic Week.
The Ceremony will include introductions and acceptance speeches, music and refreshments. Friends, family and the public are invited to support the inductees at the Ceremony on March 7. Donations may be made by check, cash or Paypal to support the event and help to fund the Arnold Viebrock Memorial Scholarship, given each year to an LHS senior.
