Learn about fish cleaning with MDC virtual series
The public is invited to learn about or brush up on their fish cleaning skills with a virtual series in March.
The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will host four virtual programs focused on Pond to Plate and fish cleaning. The first was held March 4 and they continue on March 11, 18 and 26.
Details for the upcoming Pond to Plate series include:
• Learn how to clean scaled fish, such as crappie, bass and perch, from noon to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 11. Register at mdcevent- web.s3licensing. com/ Event/ EventDetails/ 215404 • Learn how to skin a fish, with an emphasis on catfish and paddlefish, from noon to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 18. Register at mdcevent- web.s3licensing. com/ Event/ EventDetails/ 215405 • The final session will combine all three topics and include a demonstration on how to scale a fish.
