Inside John Knox Village East: As we head into Valentine’s Day Week, our hearts are aflutter with excitement over the activities we have planned.

On Sunday the 8th of February we enjoyed church services followed by a lunch of Beef Pot Roast, Herb Roasted Potatoes, Honey Glazed Carrots, Wild Rice Soup, Salad Bar and Cheesecake for Dessert. In the evening, we enjoyed a Vesper’s Service led by Pastor Liz Lindsey of First Presbyterian Church.

On Monday the 9th, we held exercise class, went shopping and played bridge in the evening. We also enjoyed Banana Bingo in the Gathering Room.

On Tuesday the 10th, we held Hymn Sing and played Cards and Dominoes. We made a Valentine’s Day Craft in the Gathering Room.

On Wednesday the 11th, we enjoyed lunch at the Branded Steakhouse in Richmond.

On Thursday the 12th, hosted 121 Farmhouse in case anyone needed to pick up any last minute Valentine’s Day goodies. Our Move ‘n’ Groove Club also met. On Friday the 13th, we hosted a Girl Scout Cookie Sale followed by our Valentine’s Day Party, Cupid’s Bash where we crowned our Valentine’s Day King and Queen.
