The Lexington Middle School Girls basketball team had a good month of January, as they went 6-5 during the month, and they placed third in the MRVC East Middle School Conference Tournament that capped off the season.

The Lexington High School Gymnasium was crowded last Friday evening, as a large number of Minutemen and Minutewomen supporters, of all ages, gathered for a Fundraiser, to help raise money for a new Scoreboard and Play Clock for the District Football and Track Stadium, at the high school.

The Lexington Minutemen Boys Basketball Team beat the Holden Eagles for the fourth time this season, this time by the score of 66 to 59, in a first round District Tournament game, a week ago Tuesday at Lone Jack High School.
