Negro League Baseball was different. Bunt to first, steal second, sacrifice to third, then you bet steal home. It was exciting and fast paced that put the pressure on the defense.

The Lexington Middle School Girls basketball team had a good month of January, as they went 6-5 during the month, and they placed third in the MRVC East Middle School Conference Tournament that capped off the season.

The Lexington High School Gymnasium was crowded last Friday evening, as a large number of Minutemen and Minutewomen supporters, of all ages, gathered for a Fundraiser, to help raise money for a new Scoreboard and Play Clock for the District Football and Track Stadium, at the high school.
