Three Lexington players receive All Conference recognition
Three Lexington Minutemen Baseball players received MRVC East All Conference recognition, as junior, Alex Kraft was named to the All Conference second team, while seniors, Trey Perez and Hunter Meyer both received Honorable Mention recognition.

A week ago Tuesday, Northland Christian and Faith Christian Academy, both from Kansas City, won State Boys Baseball Championships at the State Tournament that was played at Ozark High School.

Confederate Memorial Day to be marked June 13
The Confederate Memorial Friends Association, along with the Confederate State Historic Site in Higginsville is sponsoring the annual Confederate Memorial Day on Saturday, June 13. At 10 a.m., refreshments will be served at the pergola, to mark the completion of restoration of the foundation of the Confederate Memorial rock. At 11 a.m., the Memorial service will begin.
