The Lafayette County C-1 Middle School FBLA attended the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas on 6/28-7/2.

This event attracted over 16,000 attendees including students, educators, and volunteers. Four students represented our school, including Morgan Meinershagen, Clara Copenhaver, Aubrey Homfeld, and Zoe King, plus their advisor and teacher, Mrs. Edee McArtor.

All the students did very well participating in FBLA activities and their competition. Congratulations to Clara Copenhaven who placed 9th in the U.S. middle school Public Speaking.

They would like to thank the school district administration and school board for their financial support to attend this event, along with the Rotary Club of Higginsville and Stephen Dains of Dains Custom Athletic Lockers.
