Marsha Corbin receives LCBA Citizen of the Quarter Award

Marsha Corbin received the Citizen of the Quarter (Above and Beyond) Award during last Thursday night’s meeting of the Lexington Community Betterment Association.
The nomination form was read as follows: “When LCBA expanded its eligibility for the Above and Beyond Award, Marsha Corbin immediately came to mind. For years she has been working on making Lexington and Lafayette County more healthful places to live through creation of the trail and earlier work with food pantries and farmers markets. She is a star with Lexington Tourism for her many volunteer hours as guide and her vast knowledge of Lexington and surrounding areas.
“She currently serves as Director of the Old Trails network which she has worked tirelessly to strengthen, Marsha is the Chairperson of the Board for our Health Care Collaborative of Rural Missouri. HCC has spread into many cities and other counties. They work to improve peoples’ health through education, medical care, traveling services and physical support.
Therefore we are happy to nominate Marsha Corbin for Citizen of the Quarter.”
