The Lexington Minutemen Girls Track Team put it all together, and won MRVC East Conference Championship at the Conference Track Meet, that was held last Friday in Carrollton. For the Girls, Ellie Lichte won two individual events, while Addison Smith won an event, with the Relay team of Tessa Lovell, Hunter Adkins. Smith and Lichte also taking a first place.

Zoey Earnest placed second in two events, while Smith, Amanda Rodekohr and Kai Sheperd each finished second in one, with the Relay team of Lovell, Earnest, Lichte and Brooke Dye, also earning a second place finish.

On the Boys Side, Conner Soendker won two individual events, while Chael Lichte and Cash Cole each won an event. Ayden Harned and Lichte each placed second in one individual event, while the Relay team of Brody Neece, Cole, Lichte and Soendker, earned a second. It was a good day for the Lichte family, as Chael set a new school record in the 3200 Meter Run, with the winning time of 9:41, while sister Ellie broke her own record in the 800 Meter run, with a winning time of 2:20. In the Boys 1600 Meter Run, Soendker and Lichte were literally neck and neck at the finish, with Soendker winning by only 7 one hundredth of a second. WOW!
