The annual Lexington All Sports Booster Club Golf Tournament is scheduled to be played this coming Saturday at Shirkey Golf Course in Richmond.

Tee off time is slated for 10 am, as 144 golfers will be divided into 36 different 4 person teams, and the tournament will be played using a scramble format. Under this format all 4 golfers on each team will tee off on each hole, and the next shot will be played by all 4 from the location of the best tee shot, with the same procedure on all subsequent shots The Tournament is a main fundraiser for the Lexington All Sports Booster Club, with all proceeds going to help support both the Girls and Boys Athletic programs, in the Lexington School District.

In addition to the Golf Tournament, there will be both a live and a silent auction, as well as a meal for all tournament participants, provided by Jobi Hambrick and Go Ham BBQ.

The tournament is being held again this year, in honor of Drew Emerson, former Lexington All Sports Booster Club President, and Jackie Farmer, who was also an active member of the Club. Current Officers of the Booster Club include: Nick Perez, President; Janelle Neece, Vice President; Kelley Miller, Secretary; Fallon Adkins, Co-Treasurer; Carrie Bollmeyer, Co-Treasurer; and Jennifer Soendker, Spirit Wear.
